School of Anthropology and Sociology of Religion (ASR)
The School of Anthropology and Sociology of Religion (School of ASR) is an interspiritual and interdisciplinary research institute of the New Earth Theological University dedicated to the study of interspirituality in the global community through an application of the disciplines of anthropology and sociology.
The School of ASR at New Earth Theological University provides the student with excellent opportunities for extraordinary independent and cooperative interspiritual research projects in the fields of anthropology and sociology of religion (ASR).
Goals of the School of Anthropology and Sociology of Religion (ASR) include:
+ Production, publication and dissemination of anthropological and sociological resources which have an interspiritual profile.
+ Outreach to research possibilities within local communities while expressly recognizing the interconnectedness of local, national and global concerns.
+ Intellectual exchange rooted in critical analysis.
+ Constructive dialogue and research undertaken in a climate of respect.
+ Serve as a catalyst for research and education that will contribute to the development of broad meaningful interspiritual solutions to global concerns, while understanding and respecting the social and cultural aspects of global communities.
