Metropolitan University ~ Metropolitan Theological Seminary
June 1, 2016 *
Metropolitan University and Metropolitan Theological Seminary have been honored to provide a diverse research and academic paradigm for students and faculty alike for many years. To have been able to provide learning and research platforms that were not readily entertained by more traditional academic institutions has been a great blessing for Metropolitan and, hopefully, a useful opportunity for students.
However, the Board of Directors of Metropolitan University has chosen to discontinue any future admission of new students into any programs of study at Metropolitan University. Metropolitan University effectively ceased offering coursework or research development programs effective June 1, 2016. This decision was based on the needs of former students and researchers, and a vision of offering a more board scope of learning and research opportunities.
Therefore, Metropolitan University has tendered all research and academic programs to New Earth Theological University (NETU). New Earth Theological University’s Board of Directors has gracefully agreed to accept all Metropolitan students and to continue offering studies in the academic and research disciplines of currently enrolled students.
New Earth Theological University continues in the broad visioning of Metropolitan, but brings an increasingly diverse and more adventurous academic and research paradigm to the student body and the faculty. New Earth Theological University will not only continue in the open and diverse vision of Metropolitan, but will expand and enhance that vision in ways never before dreamed. Metropolitan is honored to be a part of the transition process, and looks forward to the spectacular future in research and academics that NETU will undoubtedly pursue.
* NOTE: ALL prior Metropolitan University or Metropolitan Theological Seminary program graduates (Spring semester 2016 and before...) have already received a transcript copy of their studies along with their diploma when graduating from the aforementioned institutions.
For any additional copies of transcripts, students must contact the former Registrar of the Metropolitan University or Metropolitan Theological Seminary for a request of prior transcripts. New Earth Theological University does not maintain - and is not responsible for - any official records of those former educational institutions.
Former students - enrolled in Metropolitan University or Metropolitan Theological Seminary - will have a student ID# and copies of their transcripts.
